Trust is a hard thing to earn and an easy thing to lose, that is what makes it so valuable.

Trust is fragile, it is what is left when the ability to speak, walk, or hear is gone. When passion is a memory and love is something that is warm in your heart instead of somewhere else.

Trust is what remains at the end of all things, if you are lucky, and you have earned the right to give it, and to receive it.

Because it is so precious, it warrants careful and considerate handling, and should be easily lost to those who would take it for granted even for a moment.

Yeah.
For example:
Trudy and Brianna, my old friends. They trusted each other by the time they were teens and they knew each other since kindergarten. After they did a trust exercise we just learned, Trudy wanted to borrow Brianna's watch. Trudy put it right on and tried to set the alarm on it. She couldn't do it. She got frusturated and slammed her wrist on her desk, breaking both the desk and watch on purpose. It was only half a minute in that time period. We've never even said a letter to each other after that.

Well my man and I trust each other, It's taken a few years to get to know each other so well that we can trust each other.
But if I or he was to do something like cheat, the trust would then be broken in an instant.

Yeah, this can be applied to a lot of things metaphorically. It takes a long time to bake a cake, but seconds to eat it!

Yes, and as dumb as it is, the second one is the hardest one to me. I mean, I'd have to do something really stupid to make someone stop trusting me.

just like it takes years to put off weight but only months to gain it..

just like it takes a while to put up a failing grade but a day or two to bring it down again.

just like it takes more energy to run up a hill but hardly any enerygy to run down a hill.

life is twisted, aint it? get used to it....

Yeah, it's true. You lie once, and the years of hard works is gone. That's why 1st impressions are important, too.

how is this a question? trust is based on faith and by acting in bad faith you can lose the trust people have in you in an instant.
what part of that can you not understand?
