how will you know if your special someone really loves you???

I got curious with this Q.

If u had a bf/gf and you know to yourself that you love him/her so how will you know if he/she loves you in return.What would be your assurance or what can they do to prove it?

Just by doing something for you then you'll be sure that they love you, what would be that something?

When we were engaged, my fiance did little things out of the blue that showed me how much he cared about me, like scrape the snow off my car in the morning, or get food he knew I liked and keep it as his house for when I was there. Now that we are married, he travels all the time for work (he is a pilot) but instead of going out all the time after his flight, he'll call me up and we'll talk for hours, still. He also picks me up things he thinks I would like, telling me he loves me and misses me, texting me silly inside jokes, things like that. Actions speak louder than words, I think. But it's also a two-way street. You have to do the same things if you want them in return.

for me, it's nothing they can do, it's just a feeling i have when i am with them, like i'm safe.

that's how i know my ex didn't love me anymore, i didn't feel safe with him anymore, not that he was beating on me or anything, but i didn't feel like we were going to get anywhere.

i have always been able to tell other people's feelings though, it's hard to explain.

like my first (serious) boyfriend i knew he loved me more than anything on this planet, i know he still does. we were together a looooong time, but he screwed up and he screwed me over and i ended it.

my most recent ex, i never really felt that he felt like he loved me. god knows why i stayed in the relationship, looking back now, it would have been better if i left. but i could tell he never felt about me the way i would have wanted him to, the way i felt about him.

When you have sex with their best friend and they forgive you when you say it will never happen again and you are sorry. That is when you know for sure they love you.

u will know by how they treat u, if they are respectful of u, treat u with dignity, and u are their priority. if they make u feel emotionally safe, when u talk to them. doing kind things for u, making your life easier, by what they do, and how they act.
