This is a hard question so think?
A doctor had only one heart that was both your parents type. They both are on there dying bed in need of that one heart. The doctor looks at you and say "I only have one heart and you are the only one that can tell me who to give it to. Keep in mind one of them is going to die".
WHO WOULD YOU CHOOSE????????????

Ask the doctor which one has the best chance of recovery after the transplant.

I love them both
so I would say don't give it to anyone, It may be selfish of me but
I would take the heart and destroy it
I would feel bad if I choose one from the other because I love then equally and They will die together happily
I did it because I love them and would want them to understand I couldn't choose one because that will seen as if I love the other better and plus I think I did good for them

This is going to sound horrible:

I would give it to neither. I know if my mom lives and my dad dies, she would always be heartbroken. Same for my dad. Its horrible that they are dead, but there are much younger people at there who deserve a new heart. I couldn't live with myself choosing one parent, who will never be happy, and taking someone's life in the process.

In the long run, it would the best decision.

My mom. My dad has had a bad heart for years. (He also has a lot of other health issues... like kidneys are failing, gout, etc.) He is ready to die. He wants to be done with this life. He wants to meet his maker. My mom on the other hand is my best friend. And she is healthy other than the heart issue you put in here. But I love both my parents dearly. I just know which one wants to be done.

This is easy for me. I would choose my mom since I don't really know my dad. From what I do, I don't like him. But If I knew and got along with both of my parents, this would be impossible to answer. Almost like choosing which one of your children should live.

Well, my name is Hallie and I'm 12., using my Aunt's account. My dad left us 4 years ago when I was 8 and my mom was about to give birth to Zak, who came out a stillborn. But by far my mom. I don't even know what happened to Daddy Fedex. He can be dead now I wouldn't care.

Could the doctor cut it in half and give a piece to each parent? I've heard of people obtaining slivers of organs and the body naturally causes it to grow & work right.

Hearts are different, I realize due to the chambers and what not.

I guess I would chose the parent that had the best chance of surviving many, many more years. Kinda a weird question.

Most I'm sure would say Mom, because we all know Dad would insist you choose her anyway.....But I would say Dad because I have or had a bad relationship with my mother.
