does Chansey really give you good luck?

i caught a Chansey at the Safari Zone. The pokedex said the trainer catches it, the trainer will get good luck. is it true?

no,there is no luke in the game,but after you caught the chansey check if it is holding the lucky egg which will double your experience point.

It's a game programmed randomly. You can't really add luck to programming.
