I have done quite a few home pregnancy tests myself in my time, and they all usually say you can take them as early as the first day of your missed period... i.e., the first day you thought you should have gotten your period and didn't. If your periods are irregular then this may be difficult to determine, so they usually say wait to do it till the longest possible time your period would come. Like, if your period comes every 27-32 days, wait till day 32 to do the test. Almost all pregnancy tests you can buy in the store should tell this and much more helpful info.

If you have trouble keeping track of days, what a nurse taught me to do many, many years ago was to get one of those little pocket yearly planner/mini calendar things and write down in it when I get my periods, how long they last, and then number the days, starting #1 the first day you get your period. (it also helps to jot down the day/days you had sex). This REALLY helped me with the "am I pregnant" anxiety BS because it gave me some clear, written records I had kept to refer to, so I could see how long my cycles really were and when I was just being paranoid/impatient for my period to come.

I hope this helps, and hope you get the answer you want.

The best time to take a pregnancy test is after you finish having sex.

great...unwed teen mom...if you are seriously worried, take a test after you missed your period. it also might be stress. since you are still young, your body hasn't regulated itself yet. stop having sex until you are old enough to take care of a baby, mentally and financially. if you are pregnant, i suggest adopting the baby to someone who can give the child everything it needs, and learn your lesson.
