He just doesn't get the respect he deserves. I'm 21 and I think he's the hottest thing over 40. I just can't get enough of him.

Every now and then, I find his performances almost hypnotic. Vincent has a very clever way slipping into the background and still be noticed. Sexy in a subtle way.

Vincent is definitely underrated and unrecognised as an actor. He should have won that Emmy for his guest appearance in Homicide: Life On The Street's episode of 'Subway'.
Vincent prefers to be a character actor rather than a headliner, because he doesn't want his scope to be limited nor to be type-casted. I suspect that he likes to keep a low-profile in his personal life; can't say that I blame him. Many folk, in the public-eye or not, want privacy.
He is a handsome man with amazing eyes, a distinctive voice, and nice smiles that range from a wee hint to an ear-to-ear grin. Not one of those pretty-boys.

In every part I've ever seen him play, I get the impression that he should have played Hannibal Lector. There is a thread of an innocent, yet dangerous derangement being kept at bay that I find both attractive and frightening.
Since I have never seen an interview with him, I have no idea whether this carries over into real life.

I waver between enjoying watching him chew the scenery and (in Law & Order: CI) being disgusted by what the suspects' lawyers let him get away with. There is NO WAY a detective in his position could get by with the stuff he does. But he's still fun to watch. I think he and Eames have great chemistry.

BTW, have you seen him in "The Cell"? Kiiiinnnnkkkkyyyyy!!!

Sorry, but VD is my daughter's "secret celebrity boyfriend" and she doesn't share. The secret part is that he doesn't know it and never will. :-} Oh, go ahead. I won't tell her.

Luv V.D'O! Why did they get rid of him on L&O?? And if he's still on the show, they sure did cut his airtime. Hate that!
