Well I looked at your other posting.

The reason you were probably bashed is because of the wording. Your comment contradicts itself. You state it's a problem in the "entire" community then you turn around and say "not all latinos are like this". Well which is it? It's obvious you've experienced bad relations with latinos and this in turn has placed a sour taste in your mouth - but the mistake is feeling as if all are like this. You haven't met every latino person in the world - and if you feel that the entire community is like this then perhaps its just the area that you frequent that has this type of attitude. If you're tired of negative encounters go outside your social circle/neighborhood and encounter others with a refreshing attitude - but surely don't label an entire ethnic group negatively.

I guess they are too busy pointing out the general fact that in the Latin and black community most are unemployed, have too many kids, and undereducated to care about their hatred of white people. Face it, no black or Latino in power has ever stopped a white man from getting a job, a home, driving a bmw, or shopping in a fancy store.

Cry me another river please. I will never feel sorry for white people as a whole, ya'll rule and to say otherwise is to LIE!!!!

btw - what the hell is WHITE PRIDE!!!! There is black pride becasue we do not know where we come from. I can see German or Slavic or Celtic pride but make no mistake...only in AMerica are all the above deemed the same. In England to be German or Slavic is to be a pig!!!

AND what is reverse racism. How does racism go backwards? Are whites not suppose to be hated for their colour like every other race?

I don't think people had offense to your question except in the way it was formed; racially and generalizing. When you make generalizations, you are simply making vague or indefinite statements, which do not apply to the "whole" of anything.

Your question received a lot of "thumbs down" because it was not generally agreed with. You didn't have any facts and gave biased opinion which made it seem racist. Where you calling out to the white community for praise or putting down another ethnic group? One responder said reverse racism...too bad he didn't add information to validate the statement.

Perhaps you would do better rephrasing your question to ask if people thought "some" minorities were ________. No matter who asks the question, when you "label" people, you are taking a stand for/against those people, depending on your question. I guess people take it personal because there are few questions of validity on Y!A and most "racial questions" tend to read ignorantly. Have you seen posts that asks, "So do you think its fair that fat people refuse to pay for the extra seat on the plane?" or "Do you think it's fair that the blind can get free equipment that will help them read?" or "Why do the handicapped people have agencies that give them free equipment so that they can walk?"

Think about it... :)

Technically, black people cannnot be racist because racism is clearly defined as the belief that one 'racial group' is inferior to another and the practices of the dominant group to maintain the inferior position of the dominated group. Often defined as a combination of power, prejudice and discrimination. In other words, only the party that is in power can inflict racism or discrimination against getting a job, or something someone cannot control. Black people can be prejudiced but not racist in the true sense of the word. I really wish more people would recognize what the word racism really means. It only applies to the dominant group, in our case, that would be white people. They are dominant because their are more of them, they hold the highest positions in our land, they have more money, they hold authority over blacks in lawmaking decisions and lest we not forget that most white people are considered "the boss" at work, so they can choose who they want to work for them and everything. So as long as white people hold the power, then racism will forever be attributed to them. If the tide changes, then we will talk.

Yes, the rules of behavior are too extreme. However it is true that whites have a lot more power in society as a group so its just not quite the same thing. I'm not saying you don't have a point I'm just saying its not exactly the same thing when a white calls out latins as it is when a Latin calls out whites for racism. ONe is in the power elite and one isn't.

i dont know, but what i hear from most people is that whites are the most racist people in the world towards everyone who is non white. sorry but just saying, look around these boards, look at tmz.com, the majority of people who are making racist comments towards others are white. sad
and to the person above you can be damn proud of your race without hating others. everyone should be proud to be whatever they are. you cant change it.

I consider you one hundred%...this is a complete double-average. I wager in America, the white individuals are continuously going to be the aggressors. Poor, deficient minorities...they've it SO dangerous. Free the whole lot, pay again not anything...however too lazy to make existence higher for themselves. Just play the 'deficient persecuted me' sport.

because white people are the majority so if you make fun of a minority or point out their racism or anything, suddenly your a racist pig. It's bull but thats how it is. Thats why people like Chappelle and Mencia can make fun of minorities but white people can't without being racist.

Generalizing only points out your own ignorance by definition.
