I just purchased some more ram for my computer and it's been a while since I've had to do this, so can someone refresh my memory and tell if there's anything else I need to do besides actually inserting the ram into the tower? Do I have to configure anything? Thanks.

Just make sure your mother board is compatible with the new moduels.
If installing dule memory modules, be sure to consult the computer's Manuel to determine what combination to use. Ex:
if you have 4 dimms you may need to install modules in the order specified. 1,3,2,4.
Nothing more should be done once installed.

Touch a metal piece before you touch the RAM with your bare hands or you will fry it with static electricity, that's it.

No, just stick it in there and the computer should do the rest. Remember to 'earth' yourself first though.
