i got a letter offering me a job at home i have to send money to then, alot of people toll me is not true what i do to find out if is true before i send money

It doesn't matter. It may be a real company, but it's not a real job. They want money to send you material to get started, right?
It's called a pyramid scheme. What kind of a job makes a person pay in order to work? That's backwards.
