If so, then can rent, utilities, cable, etc be paid from this account? I have an s-corp and work from home so I want to know how to properly handle this. Thanks!

Check the IRS rules on home offices.

As a rule if you use an area of your home only for an office you can deduct that % of the home the office takes up for the home expenses.

I would doubt a cable deduction.

This one area that the IRS checks close.
If they even so much as checked you computer & found something personal on it that would call you deduction in to doubt.
