Virender Sehwag, because of his scores in the past ,the selectors are not being able to axe him from the team.In my opinion,he is a star player. The spirits of the the players are lifted when he is present on the field. He is also a great bowler. His batting,on the other hand,is not going well.He is going through a bad patch.Even though it has been many days since he was in form, they cannot even leave him out in any match. He is,undoubtedly, india's best opener. He is very aggresive and has a good batting style. Therefore he cannot be kept out for even a few days.

Sehwag should be kept out of the team. He should also also face the same treatment which other Indian players are getting. He should play in demestic cricket and must perform, otherwise he should not get a chance a to play again for India.

may be it's time to try out Gautam Gambhir for some matches in place of Sehwag ...

An example has already been set by our selectors - Ganguly was dropped from the test side (he was declared to be out of form after scoring about a total of 100-odd runs in his last 3-4 test innings against Sri Lanka in India and against Pakistan in Pakistan - mostly 20's and 30's !) and was replaced by Kaif / Raina. Let's follow that !

I strongly feel that if he should be persisted with in the current test series with South Africa and if he fails to come good, he should be dropped as it is unwise to keep a player not performing to his performance even after giving enough opportunities.

Sahwag needs a break for sometime to brood and think what went wrong with his techniques. At present he is passing through a lean patch and he has a capacity to bounce back.

Since he is not able to perform it would be better if he is rested and when again his performance then he can be included. This should be applicable to everyone and we should not single out anyone.
