im 19 years old and my boyfreind and i always have safe sex,i stopped using birth control as i wanted to get the hormone device that is inserted in the arm that lasts 5 years.we still used a condom but i fell pregnant,i also had a miscarriage 4 weeks into the pregnancy.one of close friends who is 23 is having a baby due next week and although i know i am to young to have a child any way the loss still hurt myself and my boyfreind deeply.now i feel very sad and a little jelous when i think of my friend is this normal? it very unlike me and i feel horrible about it.

yes, this is normal. I have felt the loss of a child at 12 week into a pregnancy. How long has it been? Sounds like you werent ready to have a child since you were having safe sex and trying to get on a 5 year inseart so maybe just maybe it was a belssing in disguise. Good things will come ... this is just a phase and you have to be strong enough to weather the storm and soon it will be your turn. We all go through baby phases and afer a loss the feelings are strong...it just takes time.

I think it's natural. I mean you just lost your baby the child that you thought you and the man that you love were going to bring into this world. Good Luck, and I'm sorry for your lose.

yea its alright you've just lost a baby that you loved and it is going to be rough but you will learn to be happy for your friend
