Generally, the minimum is 5. You need 1 for an introduction, followed by 3 body paragraphs and finally a conclusion.
The introduction should have your thesis statement. The body paragraphs should all support and relate back to the thesis statement. The conclusion should summarize everything and not provide any new information.
You can always have more than 3 body paragraphs. 3 is the minimum.

i would usually say 5 is a bare minimum.
your first paragraph should open with an introduction and address what you're going to talk about in your paper. this is your chance to capture the reader's attention. also mention the three points you are discussing or arguing, but don't go into detail.
then there should be three body paragraphs in the same order that you named in the intro paragraph. keep transitions between each body paragraph smooth.
the last paragraph is your chance to sum up what you wrote and what you think about it. it's just a conclusion and wraps everything up in a neat package.

Depends on your assignment. If it is 1 page you could make 3 paragraph if it is more than 1 page choose 5 paragraph essay.

Around 3-5...probably closer to 5, but 4 is acceptable. Maybe a page-page 1/2?

It depends on the requirements of the assignment, the teacher, and your grade level. I would say 5 paragraphs in an essay... my 5th grade creative writing teacher said that the number of sentences per paragraph should be based on what grade you're in (ex. 8th grade:8 sentences per paragraph). My language arts teacher says to have 3 subtopics and 3 supporting details per subtopic.

In norhteast ohio our teachers and surrounding school dstrict say all essays should be 7 paragraph unless stated other wise by your teacher!

There is no prescribed number. It depends on many things such as the length of the essay.
