Most sleep experts say 7-8 hours is needed for all of us. However teens often need more. I remember as a teen sleeping 10 or more whenever I could. I didn't do that as achild or now as an adult, but the teen body makes great changes, some clearly viible, other not, but it canges and you just need more sleep.

10 or more when you can is really good for you in the teen years!

anyone older than 12 can sleep between 6-8 hours comfortably, som doctors have said 5-8 - personally for a 14 year old I'd advise around 7-8 hourse sleep that gives them enough time to lead a healthy life.
On the Other hand remember that sometimes if a someone is exhasuted they might sleep more, so there are always exceptions when the body needs rest you must listen to it.

I would say, as long as you feel okay, and can get around, 7. But if you need more, up to 10 is good, (although teens like you could be out partying rather than asleep). On average, (I'm 12) I get about 8 hours of sleep a night, and that's what you are supposed to, but many people don't.

8 hours is ideal, but don't get less than 6. If you find that you are sleeping longer, about 10 hours, it's fine. Teenage bodies are like this.
