I have a 7 foot by 7 foot by 6 inch concrete slab how much concrete do i need?????????

1 yd of concrete.........12 bags ( 6" is very strong, can u get by on 4" and save money? fill in with dirt and pour at 4" if u can...then its 2/3 of a yd and only 8 bags......)

Most bagged toppers and stone, mulch etc, are sold measured in cubic something and it's usually on the bag. Without doing YOUR math problem, I'll give you an example. AT HD river rock is sold, bagged, at 1.5 CU FT per. Apply the measurment on the bag to what constitutes a cubic yard. Rev. Steven

multiply 7 foot times 7 foot times .50 (6 inches or 1half a foot) that will give you your cubic feet then divide that by 9 to get the cubic yards
