How would you manage without ever having sex with your marital partner? I mean, if you were really compatible in all other areas of your lives but your spouse was very unattractive to you physically, how would you deal with it?

Sexless marriages are certainly not unusual. But in your case you're saying without ever having sex with your marital partner. I'm a bit confused by that part…. no honeymoon? You thinking about this or is this the situation you're in now?

A number of marriages become sexless as they age for all sorts of different reasons. But the people stay together because they are compatible and happy in every other facet.

For me there is a difference between a friend and a spouse. There is nothing more rewarding or incomprehensible than intimacy that encompasses the soul, the mind, the heart and the body.

The only way that I would accept not having sex with my partner would be if they became incapacitated -- and even then there are other forms of intimacy.

I hope that everyone gets the chance to have that kind of relationship.

If you actually love the person for who they are, then you will see that internal beauty reflected upon the outside. It won't matter to you what they look like, only that you love them.

Besides, sex does not make or break a healthy relationship (except when it comes to cheating...). It is simply a wanted desire that can be ignored or expressed in a different way.

there is more to a marriage than sex. That being typed, if you love someone why would you not want to have sex with them?
if you love someone wouldn't the old saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder come into effect?

a big part of a relationship is your chemistry... if you truly love one another then the looks shouldnt get in the way...but if it is and your not attracted to him then your marriage is one of convience not love. your relationship is limited to a frienship... unless you truly believe you and your spouse wouldnt mind living the rest of your life without sex...

I wouldnt marry the man i would just be his friend. What would be the point of getting married? One of you if not both are one day going to want to be intimate with someone and would have to seek it somewhere else. Unless you both agree to not have a problem with the other having sex with other people I wouldnt get married.

I would look for someone else. I don't go for dry water. And finding someone so unattractive, what would have led to marriage? A green card?

Keep the lights off!!!! **LOL**

Seriously though....you must be in some part attracted to them, emotionally, physically and spiritually. If it isn't there, you can't force it.

I couldn't handle it. I would have to go on down the road. Sex isn't everything, but it does mean something...
