I had a hard time getting pregnant. My granmother suggested this, and it worked for me. I, now, have 2 beautiful children.
Time your periods. The exact time you start (even if it's just brownish spotting or pale pale pink) Write it down as day 1.
ALSO write down the time of day you first notice it. (This is VERY
IMPORTANT.) The next month write down the same info. Count the days from Day 1 of the first period to Day 1 of your next period
Divide that number by 2. Write the answer down. Counting the 1st day of your second period as 1, count off the number of days indicate by the divison problems answer. Circle the day you end up on and put a big red x inthe circle. Next, circle the 2 days before the one with the x and the 2 days after the one with the x.
next, go look up the time of day you notice the start of your period on. Write it on the day with the circle and the x.
Have sex in the morning and at night on the 2 days before and the 2 days after the day with the x. ON THE DAY WITH THE X HAVE SEX 3 TIMES. ONCE IN THE AM, ONCE IN THE PM, and ONCE AT THE TIME YOU WROTE ON THE CALENDER.
BE SURE TO ORGASM EACH TIME YOU HAVE SEX.
Also, DO NOT GET UP AND WALK AROUND FOR AN HOUR AFTER SEX. LAY DOWN WITH YOUR HIPS ELEVATED ON A COUPLE OF PILLOWS. THIS HELPS SEMEN STAY INSIDE LONGER.
If it doesn't work the first time, try it again.
My sisters got pregnant right away, I did on the second try for my first child, the first try for my second child.

7 years is a long time, I hear the NHS provide a free course of IVF now which they should inform you about, although I think there is a waiting list. If the doc has said everything is working fine then it always seems to happen when you stop thinking about it. A friend of mine had an ectopic pregnancy which resulted in a fallopian tube being removed, followed by 3 courses of unsuccessful IVF, was told she'd never be able to conceive then fell naturally and now has a healthy baby girl. This happened over several years. The doc is probably right about the relaxing thing, but if not, there's egg sharing options as well to give you a boost? Hope this helps

If you have been unable to conceive for 7 years, my dear, your doctor should have told you more than to "relax". If you are seriously trying to conceive for more than 1 year without any success, you should seek help from a reproductive medicine specialist. Both you and your husband will need to be tested to find out what the hold-up is. It could be anything from blocked tubes to low sperm count, but in either case, it is very important that you find the cause. My husband and I went years thinking nothing was wrong before finding that he has several strikes against his "viability" factor that make it almost impossible for us to conceive naturally. However, once we have enough money saved up, we are good candidates for in vitro. And don't be discouraged if you run into a doctor who gives you little to no hope of having your own, always go for a second opinion. If it's still no good, then perhaps adoption is something you may want to consider. Good luck and remember miracles happen every day!

The problem may be with your husband and whether he is healthy. He has to go back a few years too.... did he have a healthy lifestyle? What lifestyle both you and your husband had when you were a bit younger could be affecting your chances of concieving. Smoking, drinking, drugs can all show their affects now. After 7 years, relaxing isn't the problem. You will most likely need modern technology help and make sure your ovaries don't have cysts on them. You may not even know they are there. Get properly checked out, both of you (and change doctors)

Take prenatal vitamins for starters. Try getting an ovualtion predictor kit and see how that goes for a couple months. If you have honestly been TRYING for 7 years and your doctor isn't concerned, I would see another doctor. They say a healthy couple can take up to two years of TTC before getting pregnant. But 7 years? That's a little long! But if its only been "unprotected sex" for 7 years, it just wasn't during the magic time! Good Luck though!!

Have you actually been trying for 7 years or just been with him for 7 years? That seems like an awful long time to be trying without the doctor suggesting help. I think you should have some testing done and maybe consider invetro-fertilization.

Have you and your husband gotten tested to make sure everything is ok on both ends? If so you can use ovulation kits to help, after you and your husband are finish you can hold your legs up for about 10 min.(this helps the semen to get where it needs to go.) you can eat yams(they are connected to people given birth to twins, it makes you very fertile) so maybe this can help. If none of this works I recommend be reevaluated by a physician.

You ovulate 10-14 days afte rthe FIRST day of your period. I recommend having sex on those days 10- 14. Sperm can live up there for a few days so that way if you keep doing it then it will be up there and when the egg drops you won't have to worry about sperm not being there...
This just worked for me the second month i tried it.

If you've tried Basal Body Temperature, and Fertility Awareness, etc., it might be time for you to get a new Dr or contact a Reproduction Specialist, and have your husbands sperm analyzed (considering it's easier for him to be checked out vs a woman).

FInd out what day you ovulate, i think it is like a 3 day window when it is best to get pregnant, A Dr. can figure out exact times and give you tools to find out even m,ore accurately. There are certain positions that also help...i beleave they alow the sperm to reach the egg with greater ease
