acrylic uses acrylic. and gel is this other gel form.
my mom does nails and she's banging at acrylic nails. acrylic nails are easier to take off.
Gel looks cleaner and shinier, where as acrylic takes filing on the nail and make it rough, and nail polish and other crap to make it look shiner.
PErsonally i like acryllic. i have tried gel before and it takes longer. ALSO. you cant take it off! i damaged my nails so bad after it. if you break it, or attempt to take them off it will rip off your natural nail. besides why would sticking you hands into uv rays be good for you? BOTH are very bad for you. you should just stick to cutting your nails and not doing anything to them.
they are both very pretty.

Gel nails are so much better <3 i use to always wear acrylic nails but they wouldn't last as long as gel ones plus the acyclic nails break easily and you end paying more money then just getting a gel set.
