If your starter sounds like it is going very slow when the car is hot, it is the starter, not the motor. When starters get really hot they will go slow. There may be a heat shield missing, or there is a thick coating of grease on the outside of the starter which doesnt let the heat dissipate properly.

It usually requires a scan tool hooked up to the car to diagnois problems like this. it could be a crank sensor ,elec ign module and so on.Save youself a lot of time money and pay a tech to drive it and ck it when its acting up.

Change your attitude for one. It may take up to 15 secs to start some cars. Sounds like it could be a filter problem, or a temperature problem with your sensors.
