Wow 12GB is alot of space and I do mean ALOT. Thinking an average 25 minute video is around 120-180mb now 1gb is about 1000mb so on an estimated average thats more than 65 25 minute videos. an average song is about 3-4mb so thats more than 3000 songs. And documents are on a whole 'nother scale of smallness meaning thats alot of documents.
So basically its ALOT of space.
Im not sure since I dont use Flash Drives too much but for any good review on just about any electronice device check out CNET reviews, they sometimes give you video explanations, pros,cons, and an overall rating of the product. Very Reliable.

ALLOT go to dell.com fins some there that are teh best quality for low price.

welll.. with the cache... i say about 11.9 gb... but if your talking about storage capacity... its alot... its about 1,073,741,824 bytes yay many bytes... i would say about a good 11000 megs.... yeah sounds about right...
