Nah, Harry is a great name (my nephew's name, in fact). I won't hear bad talk about Harry either....but probably for different reasons to you (what can I say, I'm a chick!)
Just don't name your boy Warney

Well, there is nothing wrong with the name 'Harry'. David Letterman named his son 'Harry' after his father.
No, it is not wrong. If people can name their children after flowers and such, why not sporting heroes? Hell, there are people who named their kids "Espn". Get it? After ESPN, the sports network. They like sports so much that they decided to name their kids after the station itself. There are some who has added an 'E' to it, but is still is pronounce either "Ess-pen" or "Ess-pin" or "Ess-Pee-In".
Stars name their children after a city (Phoenix), after a Hawaiin saying or dream (Makena'Lei-Helen Hunt's daughter-which means "many flowers from Heaven") and some that are from instruments (Banjo-son from Rachel Griffins from "Six Feet Under"). So, after knowing this, there is nothing wrong with that.
I bet there are going to be a lot of "Emmitts" running around out there in another year or so (from Emmitt Smith-all-time leading rusher for the Cowboys, "Dancing With the Stars" winner).

i think of you're somewhat fortunate that your son became out the way he did. regrettably, maximum infants does no longer have became out so properly. in the adventure that your son is satisfied with you right this moment, and thank you you for what you probably did, i do no longer see a concern, even however i could have had difficulty with it myself for the time of the approach of "practise". women individuals react in yet in a different thank you to issues than adult adult males. i'm sorry your spouse divorced you because of the fact of it, yet possibly it could have been extra suitable to pay interest extra on your marriage as a replace of your baby. additionally: no longer each baby has the fortitude that your first born does. i've got faith the subsequent 2 won't react the comparable way because of the fact they are different infants, incredibly middle infants. middle infants tend to be extra passive, are peacemakers and can get harm emotionally plenty extra basic. in the event that they prove ok, properly then, extra power to you, even though it does look somewhat severe to me. there's a stability to be executed in each thing we do.

I was named after a skier in the olympics. She wasnt a hero, my parent just liked her name. My brother and his wife named their son after a John Wayne character. Chance. Now if there was ever a name not to name your kid it is that one lol. He has a "chance" in hell of getting through school with out being teased!

It's not up to me to judge wrong from right. Personally I wouldn't name my child after a total stranger. I would name my child with a name that has some value to our families.

I don't think it's wrong at all. I may do something like that. I think it's cool. Gives the kid reason to be proud of their name.
