I'm going to a dinner party on the Queen Mary. I asume it will be kinda fancy. Do I wear a long velvet black dress with osrich feathers around the off the shoulder neck line or do I wear a black pant suit with fur on the cuffs and collar?

Dittoing Cubic Spline here... you don't need all that edging. I've heard a couple of times that fabulous underdressing is better than any kind of overdressing, but that's subject to opinion - I think overdressing is so much more fun. So I'd go with the dress.

Definitely the pant suit. Very classy, add some gorgeous earrings and you will look fab!!
