I have to stay late at work today, because my alcoholic worker screwed things up and now I have to stay late to fix her mistake! Boo hoo, I am all alone.

I’d rather be in your spot ready to prove myself as someone ready & able to fix a dilemma than ever to be building a reputation as an unreliable worker. Someone once said that a (good name) is to be valued more than gold. He said it because a good reputation cannot be purchased with all the money in the world. In other words Toyota or Honda couldn’t just purchase the titles such as reliability, long lasting, durable etc. These companies proved themselves to be so by their actions and works. Which is what you’re doing while staying late & working, building on yourself, making a good name. Besides the only thing that’s the end of the world, is the end of the world. Hope this helped.

Just look on the bright side... at least you don't have to go out in all the traffic. I mean it was crazy out there. Anyway, just be thankful that you have a job. Some other person out there would love to have the job you have. And plus... extra work means extra money.
