No, but if you use sugar it can make yeast grow. Another food that can make it grow is carbohydrates (breads, starches, etc.) . We all have yeast in our bodies. Something can trigger it to grow out of control and other elements will "feed" it. (Then you get yeast infection or other symptoms.) One of the big triggers for yeast overgrowth is antibiotics. You can eat yogurt and that can control yeast and somtimes even bring it back to completely normal levels. Also a product in capsule form called Acidophilous can do the same thing. Hope this helps!

If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary.
https://tr.im/ProgramYeastInfectionNoMore Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment. If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment.

What brainless wonder told you this? Holy crap. Tea if, anything, is good for you. Full of anti-oxidants (good for your heart and cholesterol), reduces the risks of cancer, anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties and is one of the few natural sources of flouride (good for your teeth). Yes, the chance of having a yeast infection is higher if the woman's blood sugar is higher, but that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the intake of sugar as in granulated. Sugar occurs naturally in almost all foods, for instance milk, peas, tomatoes, etc. High blood sugars can also occur naturally, such as with diabetics. If you have a yeast infection, you may wish to consider watching your intake of sugars, but otherwise, no, tea itself, does not cause yeast infection.
