I want to get tix to a show in San Diego on Feb 20 as a gift for someone who likes John Cena. Will he be there? Are there different guys for each? I think this is a Smackdown show. I dont really know. Any WWE fans out there that can help me? Or is it WWF?

It's WWE now they had to change it. If you got tickets for a Smackdown event . No John Cena most likely will not be there. Cena is on Raw. The only difference between Raw and Smackdown are the people on it. Sometimes the do show up on the other shows just not all the time. The show you have tickets for is a Smackdown and ECW event. If he is a WWE fan he should enjoy it even if Cena isn't there. If you want to find out if he likes Smackdown ask him if he likes the Undertaker, Kane ,Batista,Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio. If he says yes to any of those he will like the show.

Monday Night Raw has been around for 16 years. Currently it has celebrity guest hosts each week. Usually for them to advertise there merchandise and they come to the WWE. Some of the guest hosts will be WWE fans but some are not. They usually have WWE legends hosting RAW but it has only happened 3 times (4 times on Monday) They are the "A" show of the WWE as they have higher ratings than Smackdown. They have more family friendly segments than Smackdown, they also have more comedic segments happening with either Hornswoggle, DX, Cena, Chavo and Santino Marella. Also the guest host has his fair share. The top Raw superstars are DX (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) John Cena (WWE Champion) Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Chris Jericho (Smackdown superstar but he is on the Raw roster because of the Unified Tag Team titles) Big Show (Jericho's Raw partner) The up and comers are Ted DiBiase Jr, Cody Rhodes and Sheamus Others are Evan Bourne, Chris Masters, MVP & Mark Henry and thats basically all you need to know. Smackdown however, is just after celebrating its 10th anniversary. It has more wrestling and alot of young up and coming performers. This show is more for the vivid wrestling fans than Raw. They have a few segments but none are really comedic. The top performers are Undertaker, CM Punk, Batista, Rey Mysterio andd Jeri-show (Jericho & The Big Show) and Kane The young up and comers are Drew McIntyre, John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler and The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) Others are Matt Hardy (deserves more), Cryme Tyme, Finlay, Mike Knox

Smackdown and RAW each have their own set of wrestlers, if you wanted to see John Cena you'd have a better garentee of doing so by going to see a RAW show than a smackdown show.
yah No Way Out (february 18th according to wikipedia...) is a Smackdown show, take a look at the wwe website in these sections to see who's on what show

btw just because they are contracted to one of the three shows, doesn't garentee that they will only appear on that show's events and tv time, quite often wrestlers cross over

ok RAW is different because it has diferent people and JOHN CENA and smackdown has different people to if you want to see JOHN CENA you need to find the places RAW is going because sometimes Cena shows up on smackdown but not a lot his show is RAW he is the champion i may add you can watch RAW monday night and they will tell you when and where new shows are comming@!

ay baby WWF is WWE. John Cena is on Monday night Raw. Unless you go tomorrow he probaly won't be there. There are way different wrestlers for each.

3. raw and sd are wrestling but there are different wrestlers. john is on raw so you wont be able to see him. sorry. but it's not to bad. sd still has alot of great guys
