It'll be 5:00 a.m. the next morning, 6 hours LATER than at GMT(Greenwich Mean Time, 0[zero]degrees longitude), so 90 degrees east means 1/4 the way around earth(24 divided by 4 = 6). Toward the east, you'll gain time, that's why it's later.
96 degrees, however, is only 6 degrees in longitude further east, therefore you're probably still in that time zone, since each time zone is 15° longitude wide(some with exceptions).

It would be 6am (not sure of the time zone off-hand). 90 degrees is 1/4 of the way around the world, which translates to 6 hours. The additional 6 degrees take it into the next time zone beyond that, so add another hour for a total of 7. Moving east, you add the hours to the GMT time.

From Wikipedia:

"Standard time zones can be defined by geometrically subdividing the Earth's spheroid into 24 lunes (wedge-shaped sections), bordered by meridians each 15° of longitude apart."

Since the zones are 15° wide, divide 96 by 15 (6.4 round to 7) and that is your difference in time. I make that about 6:00 a.m.? However, if you are talking about Rangoon (which is at 96 degrees east), I think you need to adjust by 1/2 hour because their time is different by that much for some reason.

" its standard time zone is UTC/GMT +6:30 hours. " per Wikipedia. (India is like that as well).

Hope this helps!

11pm? Right? Because 90 degrees would be straight down... I dont think you can have 96 degree, east.
