Have you ever watched someone you love die of cancer? It is considered the humane thing to do to put our pets down when they are suffering. When my dad was dying he lost control of his bowels, changing diapers on a man is humiliating for everyone concerned. People ought to be able to die with dignity when they are ready.

I don't understand why so many claim a belief in an
afterlife, and then selfishly hold on to this life.
if one is in pain, and there is no hope. Why burden
everyone if the person wants to go?
This is why spirit communication was condemned in the
Law. Because it works. And people hang on to loved ones
and don't let them move on.

it is a form of soicide but then is it wrong to keep people alive against their will. the more medical intervention their is the more we are taking away peoples rightt to die. if they are suffering and it is their choice I think it should be alowed. the problems come when the person involved can not decide and their may be conflicting fews. or presure could be put on the elderly to opt for it ??

Yes, I do believe it is wrong. I don't believe that people should be put on life support in the first place if they won't live a life outside of a hospital.

I am so on the fence with this subject. I've heard someone say we treat our terminally ill animals better than our terminally ill humans. Boy - I just don't know...

Make it legal!!! We put pets down when they are in pain but the same rights are not extended to humans who are forced to die an undignifed, unnecessarily painful death.

It depends. If it's just to kill the animal because of no home, I think it is indeed wrong. If it's to put the animal out of TRUE misery, then I say it is right.

It's perfectly aright, I know I want to be unplugged. That's is not being alive in my book, and I sure wouldn't want to burden my family like that. Wouldn't it seem logical that Christians would be against it, I mean if they are going to heaven why would they want to be stuck here. Sounds pretty selfish to me.

Only if the person "desires" to die and "needs" to die. Never would I agree if there was not a real need to die, and the person be able to communicate their desire for it.
