seriously its pure ignorance. some ppl are so accustomed to their lifestyle that they dont want change. Plus they think "what the heck i wont be around when everything goes wrong, it'll be my children and grandchildren that have to deal with it."

There are people out there that people just don't undertand the the theory.

However while it is a fact that tempuratures have been rising faster than expected the past 150 years or so there is still not a tone of evidence supporting that a significant majority of this tempurture rise was caused by human carbon emmissions.

The fact is the earth has been going through tempurature cycles for millenia and we are still technically in a cold spot. It was only in the 70's when scientists believed we were in serious danger of entering another ice age.

I have no doubt the the earth's tempurature is rising, and I also believe a measurable portion of it is generated by humans, however I do believe that natural cycles of the earth explain a larger portion of this variance. And right now the science does not contradict that.

Gee... when I was a little kid in grade school (back before Independence) they taught we were just coming out of an ice age, and the glacial melt caused the Great Lakes... then in high-school (shortly before electricity) they taught that very same thing... now Voila... we have... 50 years later an all new and improved reason for the warming... (groan)
Global warming IS happening, a given, but not for the reasons our leftist liberal science sources, politicians and socialist press are reporting. The majority of scientific studies are now discounting Carbon Dioxide emitted by motor vehicles (burning of fossil fuels) as the cause. Geological history indicates natural solar cycles are the culprit, something politicians have no power over so they ignore. The real short-term danger is in fact a buildup of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, but not the buildup of Carbon Dioxide. The real culprit is Methane, a far more potent greenhouse gas, being released into the atmosphere by the (natural) decay of Methane Hydrate occurring (naturally) frozen on the ocean floors, due to the gradual (natural) warming of ocean water by (natural) solar cycles, another item our politicians have no control over and the liberal media will never mention. Follow the money trail... They promote revenue and power by promoting fear. "We just have to do SOMETHING...You know"? So they continue to promote cars as the culprit, people… cars… which do we get rid of first, (sound like something from the Pol Pot generation?)

Because there is no fact only opinions about global warming. And if one would research, there are two sides to the theory. Look at the other side before you decide.

because u have NO evidence that global warming is anything more that the normal fluctations that occur. that is why u didnt present any. by the way, al gore is not a scientist, he flunked out of divinity school and dropped out of college. perhaps u should listen to hannity. hes a success.

If George Bush, Sean Hannity, and Rush Limbaugh say so, than by God that is good enough. At least for some people. who gives a crap what well educated scientists think. What do they know?

BECAUSE THAT IS ALL IT IS...THEORY. MANY QUITE REPUTABLE SCIENTISTS AROUND THE WORLD DISPUTE THE FINDINGS OF GLOBAL WARMING BY ATTRIBUTING MANY FINDINGS TO NORMAL CYCLIC PHENOMENA....I REMEMBER BACK IN THE SEVENTIES SCIENTISTS WERE WARNING US THAT THERE WERE ONLY, AT A MAXIMUM, 30 GOOD YEARS BEFORE THE WORLDS OIL SUPPLY WAS EXHAUSTED. NOW COMES THE FINDINGS THAT WE HAVE OVER 120 YEARS OF TOTAL KNOWN RESERVES. THUS, I HAVE A HEALTHLY DOSE OF SKEPTICISM WHEN CONSIDERING "SCIENTIFIC PROOF" ESPECIALLY WHEN IT CONCERNS A "THEORY" WHICH MEANS WE REALLY DONT KNOW IF ITS TRUE OR NOT.

The theory is not weak. The controversy arises over which parameters you plug into the theory's equations.
