The Beatles PENNY LANE
The Rolling Stnes PAINT IT BLACK
Manfred Mann. PRETTY FLAMINGO.
Those are my choices. and I rate music from that decade 10/10 music now, 3/10

The 80's, defintiely the 80's!! I'm an 80's girl, even though I was born in the 90's, early early 90's.
Anything from Depeche Mode
Anything from Morrissey and also The Smiths
The Police -- Englishman in New York
Anything from Boy George
And anything from George Michael -- I love 'Cry Like Baby' and 'Careless Whisper', really all of his!!
Today's music rates about between a 5 and 6 in a 1/2 out of 10; love The Bravery and The Killers, stuff like that; also Moving Units. Music was better in the 60's, 70's, 80's, and even some of the 90's. Kinda sad, but the real truth!!

1:Tracks of my tears-Smokey Robbinson,
2:My Girl- The Temptations,
3:Heared it through the grapevine-Marvin Gaye,
4:In My Life- The Beatles,
5: Love Man- Ottis Redding.
As you can tell I love motown! my friends think I'm sad! lol. Anyway, I love this years music, the Fratellis are cool so is Paolo Nutini. I have loved alot of great songs this year, Crazy by Gnarls Barkley is one. Ummm Lily Allen, The Zutons.....so I'd say better than last year about an 8/10

1. "God Only Knows" - The Beach Boys
2. "Eight Miles High" - The Byrds
3. "Kick Out The Jams" - MC5
4. "Crosstown Traffic" - Jimi Hendrix
5. "I'm Only Sleeping" - The Beatles
I give today's music a 4. There is good music out there, but with the overhype of American Idol and mediocre million sellers, the good ones are hard to find. Satellite radio is helping me find a lot of really good current bands.
