hi everyone me and my husband are going to have our first baby febuary due on the 16th.we are going to have a son.I was wondering when can your weight and thickness of your abdomen effect how strong you feel the babies movements.We can feel the baby but i have a am a full figured lady and the movements are lite has antone else felt this that was or is a little over weight?

It is true that some very small/skinny/petite women may feel their babies move sooner than average weight and heavier women, but by the 7th month you should be feeling some vigorous movements with plenty of kicking. I would ask your doctor or midwife about this if another week passes and the movements are still feeling really weak or faint. Best of luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

no matter the weight it feels like butterflies, flutters you are well due to feel much movement 7 months; yeah that's the baby moving about soon he will be stretching and moving all around enjoy is the best thing women rule the universe. enjoy your star its a good sign of the goodness to come

Well, yes the amount of "insulation" you have is probably related to how well you feel the baby move...as long as your doctor isn't concerned when going to your prenatals then I wouldn't be too worried.

You can actually feel the baby move.....It is normal to gain weight and for u to feel the baby moving.....its letting u know that the baby is fine.......Hope this helps for u and Congratulations on your bundle of joy.

My mom was very overweight (300 lbs) with my little sister and it didn't affect feeling/seeing the moments. Of course, my little sis is a spaz!
