The more spread out the box plot is, the more spread out the data is. The "box" part of the box plot runs from the 25th percentile to the 75th percentile, which shows you where the "middle half" of the data lies. The line to the left goes to the minimum, and the line to the right goes to the maximum. So, the longer the plot, the larger the range of the data.
A data set like: 9,9,9,10,10,10,11,11,11 would have a "thin" box plot, while a data set like: 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18,20 would have a wider box plot.

Then draw a box that goes from 42 to your upper quartile. Your median needs to be put as a line going through your box Use the scale you put to get all these values! Hope it helps!
