Since your too gutless to allow emails, I'll tell you here. Your an idiotic racist moronic b*tch. As for Reagan I try not to think of him in any form.

One of the greatest Presidents of modern times. He ended the cold war without firing a single nuclear missile at the communist bloc, the exact opposite of what the liberal-left was convinced he would do. Having said that, he still should've declared war on Iran, Syria, and the Hezbollah after they sent a suicide bomber into the Marine Barracks in Lebanon. If he did, the Hezbollah woluldn't have gone on the hijacking & kidnapping frenzy of the rest of the 1980's, and he wouldn't have had to resort to such deals as the Iran-Contra scandal. Remember, that was originally an effort to free the Hezbollah's hostages.

Very good President. Was the final blow that killed communism that ultimately led to more democracies/capitalist countries at one time in history WITHOUT the US having to invade. Although many thought his economic polices were to radical they led to the one of the greatest 25 year periods of US economic growth that we still feel today. He gave amnesty to tens of thousands of hard working immigrants with almost no criticism. He cut many unnecessary Govt. programs. And he did so much more good as well. However, his Achilles heal was the Mideast especially with Iran-Contra and the Marine barracks in Lebanon but compared to the Iraq mess those things are tame.

At the time, many of us thought he was a bit nuts/out there.

But in retrospect, he did some good things and some bad things....
- Compared to todays cons, he was a moderate. but I think he was consered way conservative at the time.
- Restored pride to the USA -- we were a bit down early in the 80's
- Spend the ruskies to capitulation and helped bring down the wall
- Opened up better diplomacy to USSR
- Lowered taxes, diff monetary policy which got the economy going again.
- build up huge national debt
- arms for hostages, iran-contra thing was really fishy
- was a little out of sorts towards the end-- I guess the altzheimers was kicking in.

Well Regan was actually the person who started student loans... before him, people had to get financial backing from a private institution to get loans for college...

All in all.. he would be the reason for the recent college boom.. and though I am not a believer in Reganomics... I do believe in education...

One thumb up to Regan.
