This year I think there should be co-MVPs. LT is having the year of a lifetime with probably having 2200+ all purpose yards with around 35 total TDs. He may be having the best year of any RB in history. Drew Brees is having an incredible year as well. He may possibly get 5000 yards passing, after having reconstructive shoulder surgery, which basically put a whole new arm on his body. Put that all on top of bringing back a mourned city of NO after the biggest catastrophe in United States History back into the SUPER BOWL picture. Forget just making the playoffs. They may win the Super Bowl. I can't choose one over the other, so it has to be co-MVPs.

LT is like Jordan was in his prime. He is so good, people take him for granted. He is truly the MVP year after year. Having said that, because of LT's status and the magical year Brees is having + Katrina comeback - Drew Brees will be your 2006 NFL MVP.

I agree that L.T. is AWESOME! But Vince Young deserves it! This kid has single handedly kicked butt and scored when no one else would on his team. He maintains a great disposition though he is teammates with a bunch of ghetto losers and he gets the job done without pointing and blaming anyone. He was robbed of the Hiesman at UT where he again single handedly won the entire year for them but should not be denied atleast the MVP in the NFL.

L.T. There is also no question that he will win it. Anyone that breaks the single season TD record deserves and will get the the MVP. Just ask Shaun Alexander.
