If you go into the street you do about 4 or 5 illegal things per day. Many are related to driving infractions. Leering at a woman is illegal in some States. Discipling your child by even the mildest of corporate punishments is illegal. Until recently sodomy was illegal. Giving your 17.5 year old son a sip of beer is illegal. Point is, there is a stack of unenforced and really unenforceable laws, that technically make daily criminals of us all.

Drugs, DUI, stole some beer and some money ($40), break the speed limit, u-turns, park by a yellow line, never wear my seat belt (hate it), a little forgery and a little fraud.

Of course. I smoked marijuana, did coke, meth, shop lifted small items worth 15 dollars or less etc. That was soooo long ago, but because I did it, I have radar to spot anyone else doing it versus someone who hasn't.

It helps me to steer clear of bad company.

I speed in my car. I usually go 5 miles an hour over on the interstate, but that is still breaking the law.

minor things

using drugs
paying for sex

and maybe some less serious things

parking violations
speeding once or twice
hitchhiking
pushing a vehicle while intoxicated

I wonder what a priest would have me do to absolve it.

Of course...I would say it's nearly impossible to go through life and not do anything illegal.
