All last week people have been getting in my face about me liking anime, AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Most of them never gave it a chance, and most of it was racism, they didn't like it because its japanese.
Well, I LOVE JAPAN! and I hate america, america sucks!
Who else feels the same way? who else is fed up with this country?

GROW UP girl . There will always be people who do not like the same things you do. However that is no reason to rip on the United States Of America.

I think America is ok, I have been there twice because of relatives, and lived there for a while too. I live in Japan. But I will tell you a sad truth... there is much racism here in Japan as well, I mean I am not one of the racist, but I am telling you, if you are caucasian or african american or any other, you will get much staring and whispering everywhere(I will make it clear that not ALL Japanese are like this).. You must understand that there is racist all over the world, it is sad. But it's perfectly fine that you love the Japanese culture.^-^

Personally, I feel Japan and America have their strong and weak points.
If I had to choose a country to live in, though, even if I could automatically know Japanese I'd have to pick America. It's definitely a more laid-back atmosphere here than there.
(Although I did like that the Japanese McDonald's still had the fried apple pies and fish sandwiches for breakfast! Yum!) :-)

I'm fed up with the way this country is being run..I don't hate the country just the leaders, who are doing a piss poor job...
I would love to visit Japan. People *my friends mostly * don't understand my preoccupation with Japan and my love of anime. I tend to be quite a geek about it :P...But if someone got in my face about it I would have to wonder if they didnt need medication..

I personally don't really like anime, but I have watched several different anime programs. So I'm not just being prejudice against japanese people, its just personal preference. It is rather extreme to get in someone's face and yell at them for liking something, but its probably just a probelm with the kid or the way they were raised. Not everyone in America is so racist, I just want you to know that. Its really hard to see someone living in America say that they hate, because America is a truly great country. We happen to have an awful name because a few people decide to be total idiots. You can't judge an entire nation based on a few people. I'm not saying that you are in any way at fault here, its awful to be rude to someone based on their likes and dislikes, however its not really fair to say that you hat America based on a few stupid kids yelling at you.

I love anime also *been an otaku for well over 25 years* and I love Japan, but I live in America and I like it here! If you hate it so much, wait til you're of legal age and GET OUT!!

I'm fed up with this country!! Seems like there are a bunch of arogant, apathetic rednecks here!! I don't necessarily hate America, but eh - neither do I particularly like how America is beign run. That being said, I love Japanese pop culture. It's awesome. Anime is freakin' great, and if people think I'm a loser because I think so - they can sod off! That just makes my little anime club even more elitist!

Do you really hate your country just because your friends don't like the same TV shows as you? Isn't that just a little too drastic over something so trivial? I love anime too, but I don't care if anyone disagrees with me.

japan is great and all, but as much as i know, i'll stay in america. im not willing to stay in japan over a year.
