What are some good materials to make a cell model out of?

I have to make a model of a cell (animal or plant) for my Biology class, and I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas. Thanks!

When I was in high school I baked a cake and used colored icing and different types of candy to make the organelles. It was fun and we got to eat it afterwards. I got an A.

once I had to make one out of food. It was good. I used cookie dough and alot of other stuff, you could do that.
