My boyfriend and i have always had a healthy sexual relationship but recently he has found it difficult to come no matter what we do.
He says that its not me and he still loves me but im at a lose, im not shallow enough to leave him over something like this but i dont know how best to help
Does anyone have any sensible ideas as to what could be causing this?

In the first instance, it may be stress. In the second it may be physical. It is also possible that the very fact that he is not climaxing could possibly be that he is stressed about not climaxing. That sounds strange I know, but it's very common. He needs to rule out all the possiblities by process of elimination with his doctor. This is very confidential and respected by the GP. May I suggest that you accompany him? That often helps a lot. You need to reassure him as much as possible and encourage him to talk to you without pressuring him. Don't worry honey, things will be ok.

Almost certainly something is distracting him from 'the main event'. You could try to talk this through and see if there is something that you can help with - could be work, financial, fear of pregnancy (if relevant) or other personal stuff.

Probably start there - there could be physical/medical reasons but they would probably be next stage ....

Hope this helps

I agree that this could very possibly be some sort of physical problem that he has developed. Try to find out what that is so that you can actually get rid of the cause instead of just trying and trying to get rid of the symptoms.

He should see his doctor to rule out medical reasons for this, but its not uncommon for this to happen to men at some stage of their lives. Do not try to have intercourse for a month. You can still be intimate but hold off from the actual intercourse. This frees him from the pressures to perform and often helps get things going again. Good luck I hope it improves soon...;

its an issue for 1 in 10 men, so perhaps he shouold chat with his friendly GP. Stress and performance anxiety will make it worse for both of you. try to do make the love play less about athletics and more about touchy, feely and fun.

If he is thinking about it and worrying about it happening it will probably make it worse. My advice would be to maybe not try to specifically make him come just pleasure him and eventually he'll forget his anxiety and relax and be back to normal.

Tell him to go to the doctors, it could be a medical reason.
