There can be some pretty bad stuff that deserves reporting--come on--but I won't do it--I ignore it and move on to other questions. But hey--if you want to whine about it--I guess you're not too grown up either are you?

Yes l must agree with you to a point !! I did report one person quite a while back but that was because of a disgusting email she sent. I have never reported anyone for questions but must admit l have seriously thought about it for a few. I personally think that some of the people that ask the questions have a lot of growing up to do. I just ignore most of them and move on to the next !! Merry Xmas to you !!!

I believe that some people do cross the line of respect to others. Some people get reported unfairly, some others deserve the scolding!
I never take anything here too seriouly though, because I have a life and all of this "internet dramas" only amuse me and entretain me.
Good luck

I have reported people, and do so when they deserve it. Im a firm believer that if you cant say something nice, then shut up! For the record: I have reported people who instead of being a helpful participant of yahoo answers, only mock or tease others. Good question.

Perhaps you haven't seen some of the truly disgusting things that get posted here. Like questions about fu cking little babies. I have reported things like that and I will never apologise for it. However, I don't think it's very mature to report every person you happen to disagree with.

Don't you love it? Hey....you ask a question then you're fair game. Especially if it's a stupid question....which seems to be the norm here. I'm just fascinated with all the losers here.
I've been reported time and again. good....keep 'em coming. I just search those knuckleheads out and keep taking shots at them. After all...if i don't tell them that they're stupid..who will?

I agree. I believe in freedom of speech. Just like watching TV, tune out the shows you don't like, or use parental controls to protect your kids. In any case, reporting someone isn't going to change their position or opinion on something.

To a certain extent, you're right. But when someone is making racist, derogatory, degrading or completely inappropriate comments, I think reporting is a good option. It's a way of saying intolerance will not be tolerated.

I didn't know about this reporting stuff until I decided to answer your question. Now I know and still I wouldn't use it to report anyone. People have a right to their own oppions. Just don't let me see any nasty, sick things that people say about what they do and how they want to do it.Thanks to you ,You have given me more tools to work with.

If something is against the rules of the board I will report it. It was part of the agreement when I signed up.
