Your driveway is considered a private lot correct. They can legally tow it from there so I don't see why they couldn't tow it from any other private lot.

If you mean getting your car repoed then yes they can.
They own your car untill you can pay it off. When they repo somthing they have all the documents needed to prove that you are behind and that under what you signed with them, they can take it back. As far as going on private lot and taking it, theres rules they follow and going into a private lot is with in those rules.

the only place that is safe from the repo man is in a locked garage. if they get in it's considered breaking and entering but your car is still gone.
