Does anyone reading this watch both '24' and 'Alias'? I've only ever seen '24' whereas a friend of mine has only ever seen 'Alias' and both of us claim that 'our' series is better than the other. I'd be interested in hearing from someone who has actually watched both (or at least one season of each) and is therefore 'qualified' to compare them.

I've seen both and I'm much much more satisfied w/ 24. As impractical as the show is *how come Jack's cell never needs recharging and how can anyone get across Los Angeles in under an hour??!! LOL*, 24 comes out as the more dramatic to me.
Plus you can play the "24 drinking game...everytime Jack says
"schematic", you take a shot. Everytime he yells "Get down!!!" or "Everybody down" you take a shot. LOL..the "schematic" alone
would get anyone bombed.

1. NCIS - Mark Harmon leads a team of Naval Criminal Investigators. It has action, comedy, and some forensics. 2. The Closer - Kyra Sedgwick is a deputy chief with the LAPD, heading the Priority Homicide division. She's a CIA trained interrogator. 3. Medium - Patricia Arquette is a psychic housewife who works with the DA's office to solve crimes. 4. Burn Notice - Jeffrey Donovan plays a spy who's been burned by the government. He's trying to figure out who did it, while dealing with friends and family, and making a living helping people. This one is a series from USA Network, and isn't out on DVD yet.

Alias doesn't even get close to being as good as 24. And yes I've watched both.

cant stand either programme, as the camera constantly moving takes away all the enjoyment, and detracts from the plot of the shows. if they want to show that any one with a camcorder can produce a TV programme then they have succeeded, im sure the camera man on 24 has got Alzheimer's, as he constantly moves as if he's filming from 2 miles away with maximum zoom, [try it and you'll see what i mean]. if the show is that good then the writing should carry it off with the photo play enhancing the experience, not the other way round

24 because of Kiefer Sutherland (and to think he's a twin) Screen legend Donald Sutherland and the esteemed stage actress, Shirley Douglas did a very nice job producing hunky Kiefer and we thank them very much.

24 is better more twists, better storyline, alias is good but having seen seasons 1-4 they all revolve around the same thing- rimbaldy, sloane, her mother,...sark, etc.. getting too predictable
