That's pretty good Tammy. Pittsburgh also had 1 of the only 2 artificial ice surfaces in 1904-05. The great goalie Georges Vezina played his last game against the Pittsburgh Pirates hockey team which many Penguins fans do not realized existed and were the precedented for a Penguins lawsuit win against the Bruins to continue to be allowed to where the Black and Gold.

Yes, Arcadia except for that the original six weren't really the original six but were called that because of the so called "modern NHL." I was surprised to hear that they didn't exist until the 40s and the Penguins, Flyers, etc... came shortly after that in 67.

There have also been a number of other Minor league teams that were also in pro leagues like the AHL and IHL.

well not many old teams survive they usually fold except the original 6 teams
