Hey.
My boyfriend has a few red marks on his penis (not bumps or anything - more like short lines). We've been together for 3 1/2 years and we've both been checked and deemed clear for STDs.
I'm just wondering if this is normal after having lots of sex? Or is he itching too much? Or maybe we've been a little rough?
Or could it be something entirely different?

IT sounds to me just to be burst blood vessels, nothing to worry about!! there are loads of really small fine veins in a fellas co_ck & these can burst easily under the presure of a strong hard on or if he,s PROPER give it to you!! if hes getting these perhaps there should be a smile on your face not a worried look xx

The skin of the penile area is very thin, and thus highly susceptible to irritation. Red marks are common in this area an should usually disappear within 2-5 days unless the same area is continually being irritated. Sex, lubricants, sweat, and overly tight clothing can cause irritation amongst other factors and can lead to red marks on the skin.

From the info you give kinda difficult to know or suggest. Possibly been a bit rough or some sort of irritation or possibly slight infection - but probably nothing to worry too much over.
If concerned just need to contact health line or visit GP or GUM clinic - they've seen it all before - so he shouldn't be worried.
