There could be as many as 500 to 1000 or more. There are tiny ringlets that are quite vast actually.

Its no longer merely one ring, its a series or equipment of rings, made out of airborne dirt and dust and rocks. Uranus have been given additionally rings around it, and so does Jupiter. even with the undeniable fact that, that of Jupiter are very faint and extremely skinny to be clean as those of Saturn. No guy has ever landed on a planet. The moon isn't a planet btw, its a satellite tv for pc. merely unmanned challenge has landed in the previous on planets, and those are Mars and Venus. even with the undeniable fact that, the 1st manned challenge to Mars is planned to happen in 2030.

I just took an astronomy course, and we discussed the rings....although I'm not sure you can actually number them. The rings are made up of individual bodies. Cassini's Division and shepheding satellites pull them into Saturn's orbit....I learned a little more than that, but I'm not sure if there is or can actually be a number placed on the rings....You might just want to ask your teacher good luck!

7 named ones. Well, not named but given letter designations A through G. But the 7 named rings are subdivided into hundreds of smaller ringlets that are not individually named and cannot be seen separately from Earth anyway.
