The LSU Tigers have been the best team in the country for the last 8 years. This year, despite having 2 losses, I think that they would have the best chance to knock off OSU. You will see their dominance after they destroy Neuter Damn by at least 35 points.

Ohio State has been number 1 all year. And for the record, USC, Notre Dame and Ohio State are all tied with 7 Heisman Trophies apiece. Ohio State has 6 winners, but 7 trophies as Archie Griffin is the only two-time winner of the Heisman.

Currently, it is Ohio State. If you are looking at all-time win percentage, it is Michigan. If you are looking at National Championships, it is Notre Dame. If you are looking at heisman trophies, it is USC and Notre Dame.
