Are you talking about a bomb, go boom!!! or american idol? I guess either way, you suffer first. I guess it depends how close you are to the bomb or the TV.

If a bomb goes off and it kill you, definitely one will feel and hurt with being scared as hell and it all can happen real fast and then guess what no pain from the game.

Well, if you've been killed by a bomb, you would either suffer from the effects of the bomb blowing a few limbs off, which would hurt a bit,-i would imagine-or die immediately. That wouldn't hurt too much!

It seem that "David" has an inside track on why you are asking this question and I am getting the drift of it.
Your fella needs you to be brave too and, believe me, that is very hard but you have to try.
Thinking positive thoughts helps a lot along with prayer.
Remember he will be worring about you too as you go through your every day life.
Join up with a group of gals who also have servicemen over seas-they will be a great help to you and your fella.

Angel - I've just answered your other question, so I know why you are asking this.
Please try and calm down, take a few deep breaths, you are just getting yourself into a panic.
You need to have a talk with your boyfriend & if possible get in touch with other Wives & Girlfriends of serviceman. Talk to them and find out the facts & how they cope.
Yes there is a certain amount of danger, however, it happens in any job - I worked in a COMIC SHOP and ended up being robbed at gun point !!!!
The risk to your boyfriend will be low (assumming hes even posted to Iraq) - he will also be well trained AND will also be under supervision. First few trips (wherever they are) will be so low risk, just to get him used to things.
Take care of yourself & good luck.
May be an idea to stop posting questions on this subject, there are too many jokers around who are not sensitive to your feelings.

If it kills you outright then you would probably know nothing about it, as you would be dead before you realised what was going on. However, the bad scenario is if the bomb does not kill you outright, but injures you to the extent that you later die of your injuries. Then you would know all about it. :-(

The shock wave will burst your lungs before the blast hits you.
You could be dead and not have a mark on you.
How quick your death will be..I have no idea.

um.. most people who get killed by a bomb DIE, no one would know for certain, unless of course you had the abiltity to speak with the dead
