But I saw this thing on E I believe that was talking about 'man bags'. Now I'm all for messenger bags which can be unbelievably stylish and make a man look all the more handsome. But they showed Terrence Howard with like an actual 'purse' and this just freaked me out big time. How many men plan on being 'in' and carrying a purse from now on? And how many women would actually be okay with their man carrying one?

LOL...Karli is right. My husband would most likely be one of the men who left their purse behind because they got distracted by a hard drive or a video game. ;)

In other countries men carry "man bags" coin purses and what not I think because of how america media makes everything so political, we freak out when we see something different that we think is new, which is really not new at all,. Besides, haven't you seen the movie beauty shop? the male styleist carried a man bag and the women thought he was homosexual, and boy did he surprise them all, when it in fact turned out, that he wasn't!:)
I personally don't like purses so much. I like a simple wallet, that doesn't make me an automatic man, does it?

To each his own, but I can't see myself being with a man that carries a purse too. Thank goodness my man isn't into that. He wouldn't even give it a thought if I asked him would he ever do it. What on earth could a man be putting into a purse anyway??? They barely have to carry anything as it is. If it's work essentials then I can see a man having a briefcase or if it's school a man would have a messenger bag or a book bag, but a purse???

Okay, They have came out with the "man" purses, because they are making the pants more and more tighter and there is nowhere for them to put there wallets. But, I don't think it should be. I mean, my man carries my purse all the time, but I do not know what I would do if he carried his own! lol

Stylish or not I have been expecting this for a while. Men are finding they need to carry lots of stuff - similar to us. Expect they are carrying their phone, mp3 player, note pad, pen, wallet, receipts, keys, etc.
Eventually they will run out of pockets and need to get a "man bag".
I am not encouraging it - I just think it inevitable.

I would probably laugh in my husband's face if he tried to carry an actual purse. (Not that he would ever consider it.)
Some things shouldn't be used as unisex, they should be kept specifically for one gender or the other.

I don't like the whole man bag look. i think that it makes a man look metrosexual and i think that they should just stick to wallets in the back pockets.

guys + bags = disaster. they will most likely leave it someplace, thats why men have wallets that stay in their pocket at all times. lol
