Handmade gifts show someone that you took the time and cared enough to make it yourself. This tends to mean a lot less nowadays, but to the people who truly love you it will be appreciated. =)

If the person making them did I good job, I'd like that. But I wouldn't like someone giving me their lame craft projects unless they were a kid. Crafts from children are great. Crafts from adults? Only if they're good at it.

Handmade is the best. You can tailor it the proper size, color and fashion of an individual.
