Will a video card alon do it, or will i need more things as well? The game does run on this computer, but it is very choppy and going to stormwind is not fun at all. Bing around more than 10 people sill usually lag the game down to an unusable speed? The comp is a stock Dell Deminsion 2400

Go for a new video card, since I'm pretty sure you're currently gunning off of integrated video. A nVidia Geforce 6600 vanilla is cheap, and will give you massively better gaming perfomance

That's a pretty decent system, it might be your Internet connection too. I'm sure it could use a better video card, you're probably running on the onboard video. You can put in an AGP 4x video card.

Software can't really help you. All you can do is make sure other apps aren't running.
