No I don't. It's Christmas for goodness sake and a good majority of Americans celebrate Christmas. Pretty soon we'll have to call it a holiday tree so as not to offend those who don't use trees for their holiday celebration.

This ban was intended for the 'good of all'. What a hoot! We have a system that is set up to tell us what is best for us when all it does is protect the 'rights' of the few and remove the rights of the masses.
America is doomed to be destroyed as the infrastructure will not support people and we will go to a 'state run' system so those who want to have a say better get in with the 'good old boys' because they are the ones who will call the shots. RIght now you have more rights if you just immigrated (illegal or not) and you have some odd religion.....

I strongly Disagree! For goodness sake It's Christmas... just go home and call it a day! It's ur choice to be bother....by putting an icon (Xmas Tree) in public places doesn't necessarily mean that you have to follow it, as a matter of fact, its been around for a decade or so. Y, why now? You can either ignore it....or enjoy it...as simple as that...I feel Sorry for the people who gets irritated by it...Needless to say, In this country...do what ever you please...So what ever you see there, whether ur in the mall, school, street..whenever...wherever... "just follow the river's flow"
Merry Xmas-for the believers and Happy Holidays - for the non-believers

Where did this happen? A source, if you please.

The Supreme Court has ruled that decorations that do not have significant religious meaning--precisly such as Christmas Trees--cannot be banned from public places.

I can't believe this happened anywhere in the U.S. without making major headlines.

It's a freaking tree people! I don't understand what the big deal is. You can't even say Merry Christmas to people anymore without someone getting all upset!
Another thing, why can't school kids have a party at Christmas anymore. They go to school and study everyday give them a break. If you don't believe in Christmas then keep your kid at home on party day.

No. A tree is not a religious symbol. Most government buildings that I have been in have decorated trees all over!

No. A Christmas tree is not a real christian symbol. Many people, Christians and non-christians, celebrate Christmas as the feast of commerce.

No I don't agree..If it was a cross or some sort of religious symbol I probably would object, but there are many neutral symbols for the Holidays that are fine by all no matter their religion..=)

No. America was founded on the belief that everyone is free to worship their own way. Our money, national anthem and pretty much everything else refers to God. We put our hand on the Bible when we testifiy.

I don't undertand why all of a sudden it's an issue whenthre are so many other crisis we need to address.
