this is an old farm house trick...

... take a cheerio, twist tie it to the trap, set the trap, go to bed, wake up and have your self a little party when you go into the kitchen and find the little bastard.

peanuts work too, but cheerios are easier to tie.

also, tie it on first then set the trap, i found this one out the hard way!!!!!!! lol

NO POISON!!!!! they eat it and hide somewhere to die, then they stink to high heaven! we've tried sticky traps too, but they never stuck to them. cheerios works everytime!

TRAP! Take a half of a peanut and use a metal twist tie to wire the peanut to the trip lever on the mousetrap. Put the flat part of the peanut facing down on the trip lever. Then smear some peanut butter on the peanut. Then set the trap. The mouse will try to get the peanut off the trip lever and SNAP! One less vermin in the world.

Keep setting the trap. There are probably more around.

Make sure the trap isn't set when you try to bait it.. or it will catch you.

Good Luck!

I like sticky traps the best, although the mouse can still be alive when its caught. Place any trap along the walls of your room as mice do not travel across a room, only by walls. Keep any food in the fridge or in a metal container, they can get into plastic ones. They love stinky cheese too.

Ok heres the trick... Do a little investigating, find out where he likes to hang out. Look for his droppings, then set up a trap around there. Placing the trap is the whole trick, place against the wall so that if he is running along the wall he will run over it and set it off. Mice have very poor eyesight, they use there whickers to guide them. That is why they run along the walls, so that they have an idea of where they are going. Use this method and I can guarantee you will catch him, without bait!

I know your pain, believe me. I took a peice of a soft tortilla and a mouse trap and mine was caught in 5 min time. For some reason the peanut butter by itself doesn't work. I heard about the death tortilla... and it worked fast!

Clean your whole kitchen and get rid of ALL crumbs and such. Then set out some poison, like behind your stove. This kills 'em fast....but beware that they can die in your wall. :-(.

Traps are probably a good way to start, try diff types-- the glue, the 'humane' and the usualkind.

Put alka seltzer in the peanut butter, they probably will be able to get away with some of it without setting off traps, but the seltzer will kill them. Ive heard.

The easiest and most beneficial way to get rid of mice is also the oldest. C-A-T. Getting a cat is cool because it involves no poisons, and they kind of grow on you, like this worthless furrball that's laying in my lap. Best of all, usually they're free to a good home.

Just keep all food in covered containers until you can catch the little devil. If there is one you can be sure that there is more. So just keep laying traps until they stop coming.
